Frequently asked questions
What is iris photography?
Iris photography is a specialist form of photography that captures the unique patterns, colours, and textures of your eye, turning them into striking personalised artwork. No two irises are ever the same.
What is the minimum age for this service?
The recommended minimum age is 5 years old, provided the child can remain still and follow simple instructions during the photography process.
Is the process safe?
Yes. Iris photography is completely safe and non-invasive. The process is explained clearly before your session, and all clients are asked to review and accept a waiver prior to photography.
What if I have an eye condition or sensitive eyes?
If you have an eye condition, light sensitivity, or any concerns, please let us know before your session. Your comfort and safety are our priority, and we will always advise honestly if the service is suitable for you.
How long does the session take?
The photography itself only takes a few minutes per person. Most appointments last 15–30 minutes in total, depending on the number of people being photographed.
How long does it take to receive my artwork?
If you choose to upgrade to physical prints or acrylic wall art, production times will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
What do I receive with my booking?
Your booking includes professional iris photography and a high-resolution digital artwork, created in the artwork style of your choice (as shown on our website). Physical prints and acrylic wall art are available as optional upgrades.
Can I choose my artwork style?
Yes. All available artwork styles are displayed on our website, and you can select your preferred style when ordering.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we offer e-gift cards, delivered instantly by email. They can be used toward any iris photography session or artwork and make a unique gift for any occasion.
Can families or groups be photographed together?
Absolutely. We offer sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Group sessions are suitable for up to a maximum of 5 people, with artwork created as a combined design.
Where are sessions held?
All sessions currently take place in Central Milton Keynes, just a 5-minute walk from Milton Keynes Central station. The full address is sent with your booking confirmation.
What is your refund policy?
Because iris photography and artwork are personalized, refunds are not available once the order has been reviewed and payment has been made.
If a physical print or acrylic product arrives with a defect, we will of course arrange a replacement.
